Key Responsibilities

1. CNC Wire Cut Programming

Develop CNC wire-cut programs for tooling components and precision parts.

Prepare machining programs based on engineering drawings and component requirements.

Optimize cutting paths and machining parameters to improve productivity and accuracy.

Ensure programs are suitable for the required tooling and machine capabilities.

2. Drawing Interpretation & Machining Accuracy

Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.

Ensure components are machined accurately within specified tolerances.

Identify potential machining issues before program execution.

Coordinate with tool designers and die makers to resolve design or machining-related concerns.

3. Tool Room Coordination

Coordinate closely with die makers, tool designers, and Tool Room personnel.

Provide technical support during machining and tooling activities.

Review component requirements and clarify drawing-related issues.

Support smooth workflow between programming, machining, and tool assembly activities.

4. Documentation & Program Management

Maintain accurate records of CNC wire-cut programs.

Maintain program revisions and machining-related documentation.

Ensure proper identification and storage of approved programs.

Update programs based on engineering changes and tooling requirements.

5. Machine Upkeep & Efficiency

Monitor machine condition and report abnormalities promptly.

Support preventive maintenance and machine upkeep activities.

Minimize machine downtime through timely coordination and basic troubleshooting.

Follow safety, quality, and machine operating procedures.

HSC with relevant technical experience, or

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.

1–3 years of relevant experience in CNC Wire Cut Programming / Tool Room / Tool & Die Manufacturing.

Practical experience in programming and machining precision tooling components.

Candidates with experience in a tool room or die-making environment will be preferred.
